This is our design for our company logo. We chose the name 'Broken Glass' as it implies danger and destruction, both staples of thriller genre. We edited some cracks onto a darkened eye, so it looks like the eye is broken, which is a creepy and surreal image, much like the film our studio would produce.
Firstly, I sampled a picture of an eye and also some cracked glass. I then used Photoshop to layer them across each other. Next, I used the art history brush to add a liquid effect to the skin around the eye, whilst leaving the actual eye alone. I then adjusted the hue/saturation and filters on the cracks to blend it into the eye, creating the illusion that it is cracked. I then typed the name of the company and positioned it beneath the eye. I adjusted the filters to make it seem more like glass.
